A rigid gold bracelet, or bangle, is a firm form worn on the wrist that holds its shape without a chain clasp. Four things matter when you choose one: solid gold, hardening, a well matched size, and the purity and colour of the gold. At BELLER we make every bangle by hand in our atelier in Warsaw, from solid gold, and we harden the form so it keeps its shape.

What is a bangle bracelet?

A bangle is a bracelet with a rigid, shape holding form, unlike soft chain bracelets. It can be closed, slipped over the hand, or slightly open. The rigid form is bold and modern, and looks good on its own or stacked with other bracelets. In our gold bracelets collection you will find different versions, all solid gold.

Why does hardening matter?

A rigid bracelet faces pressure every day, so the form has to hold its shape. Our bangles are hardened, which increases hardness and resilience, so they do not deform as easily as jewellery that is not hardened. As a result the bracelet keeps its line and looks new for longer.

Solid or hollow form?

Rigid bracelets can be solid or hollow inside. Hollow ones are lighter, but they dent and lose their form more easily. BELLER bracelets are solid gold, with no hollow parts, so combined with hardening they are durable and confident in daily wear.

How to choose the right bangle size?

For a closed model, what matters is whether the bangle passes comfortably over your hand and then sits freely on the wrist. Measure the widest part of your hand and your wrist, and if you are between sizes we will help you choose. We are also happy to advise in person at our boutique in Krakow or Warsaw.

14K or 18K, and which gold colour?

It is a matter of character: 14K gold is firmer and cooler in tone, 18K is warmer and deeper. Every bangle is available in three gold colours, yellow, white and rose, so you match it to your style and everyday jewellery.

Engraving, service and price

Every bracelet comes with complimentary engraving, and a complimentary refreshing and polishing service that brings back the original shine. Prices depend on the weight of gold and the craftsmanship, and because rigid bracelets are solid gold they usually sit in the higher part of the range.
