Family gold deserves a second life

Many a jewelry box contains gold that is no longer worn but cannot be sold: because it's grandmother's wedding band, a chain inherited from father, an earring that lost its partner decades ago. At BELLER, we melt down such gold and give it a new form: wedding ringsmade from metal that has already been pledged, rings carrying a double history, jewelry where past and future literally meet. This is work that our workshopcarries out with particular care.

How does gold recycling work?

The process begins in the atelier: you bring the gold, we assess its purity, weigh it, and discuss the possibilities: what can be created from this metal and whether additional precious metal will be needed. After project approval, the gold goes to be melted down, and then into the hands of our goldsmiths, who guide it through all stages: from raw casting to final polishing. You receive new jewelry, made from metal you've known forever.

A value that does not pass away

Gold is one of the few materials that can be remelted endlessly without losing any of its nature: 585 or 750 purity remains itself, regardless of how many forms it has taken before. It is also a precious metal whose market value grows faster over the years than that of most everyday goods. Family gold is thus a twofold capital: emotional and quite tangible, and recycling allows both to be preserved.

Wedding rings from family history

Our most common task: melting down grandparents' or parents' wedding rings to create a new pair of rings for a young couple. It's hard to find a stronger symbol of continuity: metal that has survived one marriage begins to accompany another. We design such rings individually: you can preserve the character of the original or give the metal a completely new form. Free engraving allows you to record the dates of both stories inside.

What can be melted down

We accept gold of fineness 333 and higher for recycling: damaged and unworn jewelry, single earrings, chains, signet rings, wedding rings. During a visit to our atelier in Warsaw at Mokotowska 71or Krakow at Szczepańska 9, we will test the fineness and advise whether the metal is suitable for your project and if there will be enough of it.

Bring history, collect the future

Recycling gold is the most personal form of jewelry making we know: and the best proof that luxury and responsibility can go hand in hand. We invite you to talk in our atelier, from Monday to Saturday between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM. New jewelry made from your gold comes with a lifetime service guarantee, like everything that leaves our workshop.
