BELLER CARE Terms
In brief
- BELLER CARE is how we look after your BELLER jewelry. We inspect and clean it and, when it needs it, polish it and tighten the settings of its stones. Complimentary, with no time limit.
- Our care begins on the day you join. All you need is the number on your certificate: register your jewelry in your account or at one of our boutiques, or from the invitation we send after you collect it, if you receive our messages.
- Repairs carry a charge. The repair price list at the end of this page gives indicative prices, and we quote any chargeable work before we begin, starting only with your approval.
- One resizing of a ring, or one shortening of a bracelet or necklace, is part of the purchase, and we rhodium-plate white gold free of charge for two years from the day you collect your jewelry (sections 4 and 5).
- For jewelry bought before 16 September 2026, we honor the earlier promises made in our shop, even without registering it (section 8).
- BELLER CARE is not a warranty or guarantee and does not affect the rights the law gives you.
1. What BELLER CARE is
BELLER CARE is a care program for jewelry from our workshop, run by BELLER sp. z o.o.
Every piece of BELLER jewelry comes with a certificate of authenticity bearing a unique nine-digit number. From 16 September 2026, we record this number with every sale, together with the order. Joining BELLER CARE links that number to you, and from that day we look after your jewelry free of charge, within the scope set out in section 4. Repairs carry a charge: the repair price list (section 5) gives indicative prices, and we quote any chargeable work before we begin.
BELLER CARE is a care program, not a guarantee within the meaning of Article 577 of the Polish Civil Code. It does not replace, change or limit the rights the law gives you; we describe them in section 10.
2. Who can join
Anyone who holds a certificate for BELLER jewelry can register it. That need not be the person who bought it: the certificate is enough for someone who received the jewelry as a gift or took it over from a previous owner. The date of purchase makes no difference either, as jewelry bought before the program began can be registered too (section 8).
Any request from someone other than the person who bought the jewelry, and any request the order does not confirm, is reviewed individually. We may then ask to see the jewelry together with its certificate at one of our boutiques.
The program covers jewelry from the BELLER workshop, including frames from the Eyewear collection. It does not cover jewelry from other brands, gift cards, cases or pouches. Each piece of jewelry is registered separately, with its own certificate number.
3. How to join
Joining is free and has no deadline: you can register your jewelry on the day you collect it or years later. We record registered jewelry in your account on beller.pl, which you open with your email address.
From our invitation. After you collect your jewelry, we send an invitation to BELLER CARE. It goes to those who gave an email address at purchase and agreed to receive messages from BELLER. For an engagement ring, we send it only 30 days after collection, and the subject line does not say what it is about, so that the message does not give the proposal away.
In your account. Sign in to your account and open the “My jewelry” tab. Jewelry from orders linked to your account is usually there, and you register it from that tab. Jewelry that is not there, because it was bought without an account, received as a gift or passed on by a previous owner, you add in the same tab with the number on its certificate.
The certificate number. The certificate shows it as the unique product number, and it has nine digits. Numbers on older certificates begin with zeros: enter them in full, zeros included.
At a boutique. At Mokotowska 71 in Warsaw and Szczepańska 9 in Kraków, we register your jewelry with you there and then. All you need is the certificate and an email address.
When care begins. We look after your jewelry from the day you register it. A request we review individually is covered from the day we accept it. At a boutique, once we have seen the jewelry and its certificate, we accept the request there and then. When you register from our invitation or in your account, the jewelry appears in the “My jewelry” tab within a few business days.
4. What BELLER CARE covers
Once your jewelry is registered, we carry out free of charge the services listed in this section, and only these. The list is closed: any work not on it is quoted before it begins (section 5).
The twelve-point inspection
We carry out the inspection at the counter, in your presence, and it takes about half an hour. Points that do not apply to a given piece of jewelry, such as the shank for earrings, are skipped.
- Inspection under a 10x loupe and a note of the jewelry's condition.
- Every prong on the center stone: we check that it holds the stone without movement.
- Side stones and pavé: we check their setting.
- Clasp: spring, catch and safety.
- Links and solder joints of chains and bracelets.
- Earring posts, hinges and backs.
- Ring shank thickness at its thinnest point.
- Legibility of the maker's mark and hallmark.
- Ultrasonic cleaning, where the stones and the finish allow it.
- Steam cleaning and drying, subject to the same condition.
- Assessment of the finish: polished, satin, matte.
- Weighing, with the weight recorded next to the one on the certificate.
After the inspection, we go through the condition of your jewelry with you and record the date of the inspection against the certificate number. Weight changes slightly with wear, after polishing and after resizing; the record keeps the history of your piece of jewelry.
Care services
Beyond the inspection, we provide free of charge:
- cleaning at the counter, at every boutique visit;
- tightening of any stone setting the inspection finds loose;
- polishing and refreshing the finish in our workshop, when the inspection shows it is needed;
- rhodium plating of white gold for two years from the day you collect your jewelry, when the color needs it; our goldsmith decides whether it does. The day of collection is the day the jewelry was handed over to you; where it cannot be established, we use the date of sale shown on the certificate. After two years, rhodium plating carries a charge (section 5);
- for Eyewear frames: cleaning, adjustment and a check of the hinges.
Our goldsmith decides on polishing, as it removes a fine layer of metal. We therefore polish when the finish needs it, not at every visit. Matte and satin surfaces and engravings are never polished to a high shine.
Delicate stones and components
We use the ultrasonic cleaner and steam only on metal alone and on diamonds, sapphires and rubies that are not filled. All other stones, among them pearls, emeralds, tanzanites, tourmalines, garnets, topazes and spinels, as well as treated stones such as oiled ones and glued components, we clean by hand only. The result is gentler, and the stone is spared vibration and high temperature. Where the type of stone is in doubt, we clean by hand.
5. What you pay for
Everything not listed in section 4 carries a charge, in particular:
- repairs, such as soldering, rebuilding prongs, replacing a clasp, reshaping, mending a broken chain, rebuilding a worn shank and replacing parts, including a worn chain;
- stones: a new stone to replace one that is lost, cracked or chipped, and its setting. We may decline to tighten a cracked stone, as pressure could split it, and we tell you so before any work;
- resizing and shortening a bracelet or necklace, apart from the one resizing that is part of the purchase (below);
- rhodium plating of white gold once two years have passed since you collected your jewelry; the cost depends on the piece and is quoted before we begin;
- mechanical, chemical and heat damage, such as crushing, tearing, overheating or exposure to chlorine and cleaning agents, which we treat as a repair;
- engraving after purchase: a new engraving, changing one and restoring a worn one. Engraving ordered together with your jewelry is part of the purchase, not of BELLER CARE;
- the consequences of work done outside our workshop: we inspect jewelry repaired elsewhere, but quote for putting right the effects of that work;
- shipping, if you choose to send your jewelry instead of visiting a boutique (section 6). This charge does not apply to shipments made as part of a claim.
One resizing as part of the purchase. One resizing of a ring, or one shortening of a bracelet or necklace, is part of the purchase, not of BELLER CARE. We carry it out free of charge, whether or not the jewelry is registered, on presentation of the certificate or proof of purchase. Each further resizing is quoted for your particular piece before we begin; the repair price list gives indicative prices. Not every design can be resized, and rings set with stones all the way around usually cannot. Our goldsmith decides after examining the ring.
White gold. Work on white gold costs the same as the same work on gold, plus rhodium plating at the end where the work calls for it: free of charge for two years from the day you collect your jewelry once registered with BELLER CARE, then an individual quote.
Price list and quotes. Indicative prices for the most common work are set out in the repair price list at the end of this page. They are indicative because the final cost depends on the design, the metal and the condition of the jewelry. That is why we quote all chargeable work before we begin, on the confirmation we give you when we take the jewelry in or by email, and we start only with your approval. If, once work is under way, more turns out to be needed, we stop and ask again.
A claim rather than a repair. Remedying a lack of conformity of the goods with the contract is not a chargeable repair: it follows the rules the law lays down (section 10). If an inspection reveals a fault that may be such a lack of conformity, we will tell you and explain how to make a claim.
While your jewelry is with us. We are responsible for your jewelry from the moment we take it in until we hand it back, including in the parcel we send to you. We describe its condition and the condition of its stones in the confirmation we give you. If your jewelry is damaged while it is with us, we put it right at our own cost, and where that is not possible, we agree with you how to make good the loss.
Loss and theft. BELLER CARE does not cover loss or theft of jewelry in your keeping, and it does not replace insurance.
6. How often and where
The inspection at twelve points is carried out once every twelve months. You can book the first one at any time after registering, and the next once twelve months have passed since the previous one. Prongs wear down as jewelry is worn, and a loupe shows movement in a setting before a fingertip can feel it. That is why we invite you back every twelve months. Your inspection never expires: if you come later, we carry it out just the same. As it takes about half an hour, please book by phone or email.
Cleaning at the counter is done at every visit, without an appointment. It takes a few minutes, and at the busiest hours we may suggest another time.
Goldsmith's work. Polishing, tightening settings, rhodium plating and chargeable repairs are carried out by our workshop. We take your jewelry in at the boutique and give the date and place of collection in the confirmation.
Where. At both BELLER boutiques, during their opening hours: Mokotowska 71 in Warsaw and Szczepańska 9 in Kraków.
Shipping instead of a visit. If you cannot come to a boutique, you can send us your jewelry. We arrange the shipment in advance, by phone or email, and then give you the address and how to pack and secure the parcel. Shipping within Poland costs PLN 20 each way. Shipping from outside Poland depends on the country, from PLN 200 to PLN 350, and we give you the amount when we arrange the shipment. This charge does not apply to shipments made as part of a claim. Jewelry you send us we inspect without you present, and we tell you the result before we send it back.
No time limit. Lifelong care means it does not expire with the years: it lasts as long as the jewelry is registered, including after a change of owner (section 7).
7. Change of owner and the certificate
The certificate belongs with the jewelry. When you pass the jewelry on, pass on the certificate too, ideally in the envelope in which we issued it.
The person who receives the jewelry registers it in the same way: with the certificate number, in their account or at a boutique. We review such a request individually. If the jewelry is already registered to another account, we transfer it with the consent of the account holder, or once the jewelry has been shown with its certificate at a boutique. Care passes with the jewelry, on the same terms.
The certificate confirms the jewelry's authenticity and describes it: name, number, date of sale, weight and fineness. In BELLER CARE, it serves to identify the jewelry and to register it. Holding the certificate does not in itself establish ownership of the jewelry, and the certificate has no monetary value.
A lost certificate. Registered jewelry keeps its care if the certificate is lost, and you can see its number in the “My jewelry” tab. A request concerning jewelry that is not registered and has no certificate is considered at a boutique, after we have examined the jewelry.
Loss and theft. If registered jewelry is lost or stolen, write to us. We will note it against its number and review any request concerning that number individually.
Returns. When jewelry comes back to us after withdrawal from the contract, or after a claim that ends in a refund, its registration ends. We ask you to send the certificate back with the jewelry.
8. Jewelry bought before the program began
BELLER CARE begins on 16 September 2026, but it also covers jewelry bought earlier. You register it on the same terms: with the certificate number, in your account or at a boutique. Numbers on older certificates are not linked to orders, so we review such requests individually and may ask to see the jewelry with its certificate at your first visit.
Earlier promises. Until now, our shop has promised a lifetime service free of charge: in product descriptions, in our answers to frequent questions, on the Jewelry service page and in the account panel. We honor those promises. For jewelry bought before 16 September 2026, and for jewelry bought later if that promise still stood on the product page or elsewhere in our shop on the day of purchase, we provide free of charge, even without registration:
- an inspection once a year, together with cleaning;
- cleaning and polishing, with no limit on years;
- for Eyewear frames: adjustment and a check of the hinges;
- one resizing of a ring or one shortening of a bracelet or necklace, as with every purchase (section 5), where the design allows it;
- minor repairs, if the product page or another page of our shop promised them on the day of purchase. Minor means work that requires no new metal and no new stone.
If we promised more on the day of purchase, we honor it to the extent promised.
Joining BELLER CARE extends this care to the other services in section 4, including tightening settings and, for two years from the day you collected your jewelry, rhodium plating of white gold.
9. Jewelry that is not registered
Registration is voluntary. Jewelry you do not register is not covered by BELLER CARE, apart from what section 8 describes. You can register it at any time, including at a boutique during a visit.
10. Your statutory rights
Independently of the program, the person who bought the jewelry has the rights provided by law. Where the buyer is a consumer, the seller is liable for any lack of conformity of the goods with the contract that existed at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within two years of it. These rights apply whether or not the jewelry is registered, and BELLER CARE does not replace, change or limit them.
A claim may be made in any way permitted by law, for example at one of our boutiques, by email to atelier@beller.pl or by post to: BELLER, ul. Mokotowska 71, 00-530 Warszawa, Poland. For purchases in our online shop, the rules are set out in our terms of service.
11. Personal data when you join
Controller. The controller of your data is BELLER sp. z o.o., ul. Mokotowska 71 lok. 102, 00-530 Warszawa, Poland. For matters concerning personal data, write to contact@beller.pl.

Purpose and legal basis.
- Running the program and carrying out the care you ask for by registering your jewelry (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Messages needed to carry out your request, that is the confirmation that we have taken your jewelry in, the quote, the result of the inspection and the collection date (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Invitations to BELLER CARE and inspection reminders, which we send only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Reviewing requests, preventing misuse and defending against claims, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients. Your data is seen by people working at our boutiques and workshop, and by service providers we use to run the shop, customer accounts and email (Shopify, Klaviyo), acting on our behalf. Some of them also process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by the GDPR.
Retention. We keep the data while the jewelry is registered to your account, and afterwards for the limitation period for claims and for as long as the law requires. The record of the jewelry itself, meaning its number and the dates of work, may remain in our register without any link to your account.
Your rights. You have the right of access to your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.
Voluntary. Providing data is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot link jewelry to your account.
Leaving the program. You can leave BELLER CARE at any time by writing to atelier@beller.pl. The jewelry is then no longer covered by the program, and you can register it again whenever you wish.
Further details are set out in our privacy policy.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms carry a version date. We announce changes on this page at least 30 days before they take effect, and also by email to those who have agreed to receive messages from BELLER. A change does not narrow the care for jewelry registered before the date it takes effect. Changes in participants' favor may apply from the day they are published. On request, we will send you the previous version of these terms.

One resizing of a ring, or one shortening of a bracelet or necklace, is part of the purchase and free of charge (section 5 of the terms); the resizing prices apply to each further one. Work on white gold costs the same as on gold, plus rhodium plating at the end where the work calls for it: free of charge for two years from collection once registered with BELLER CARE, then an individual quote. The prices for cleaning, polishing and rhodium plating silver apply to jewelry not registered with BELLER CARE and bought from 16 September 2026: once registered, cleaning and polishing are free of charge (section 4), and for jewelry bought earlier they are free even without registration (section 8). We assess the size of silver jewelry when we take it in. The shipping charge does not apply to shipments made as part of a claim.
The price list carries its own date and is not part of the BELLER CARE Terms: a change in prices does not change the scope of care.
Price list of 16 September 2026.
