Both are full-value golds that will serve for decades; what differs is their character. 14K gold is harder and handles the daily work of hands better, while 18K has a deeper, warmer tone and more precious metal in its mass. The choice depends on your lifestyle and on how you want the ring to age. In the boutique you will see both side by side, in all three colours of gold: yellow, white and rose. That is a question of a couple's temperament, not budget. A classic plain band is timeless and most resistant to fashion. A made-to-measure pair usually takes two to three weeks. We recommend ordering three to six weeks before the wedding: that leaves time for an unhurried fitting, the making and collection without stress. And when the calendar is unforgiving, just tell us: we also take express orders and, once the timing is agreed with the atelier, we can meet genuinely demanding dates. What about engraving?
Engraving is complimentary and we take it seriously: a date, initials, words only the two of you understand, or the coordinates of the place you got engaged.
