Iconic Luxury

For centuries, diamonds have been more than just adornments - they are symbols of luxury, prestige, and deep emotional devotion. Their cool, geometric beauty has captivated both monarchs and artists, inspiring a pursuit of what is truly timeless. In BELLER collections, a diamond is never just an accessory, it becomes a vessel of history, a keeper of memories, emotions, and ambitions of those who wear it.

Diamonds have long been the ultimate icon of luxury, revered in both high culture and popular imagination. In the Victorian era, they were revered almost mystically, believed to possess protective powers. In avant-garde art, they stood for perfection and a certain untouchable brilliance, while in Hollywood, they promised eternal stardom. From the legendary Koh-i-Noor, passed through the hands of Persian, Indian, and British rulers, to Elizabeth Taylor’s extravagant jewelry collection, diamonds have always stood at the crossroads of the momentary and the everlasting.

Each diamond in BELLER collections is meticulously selected to meet the highest standards of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), adhering to the international 4C classification: Color, Clarity, Cut, and Carat Weight.

Diamond vs. Brilliant

A diamond is a mineral, pure carbon in its hardest known form. A brilliant, on the other hand, is a diamond cut in a specific way, using the brilliant cut, which maximizes its sparkle and play of light. Every brilliant is a diamond, but not every diamond becomes a brilliant. It is the precise cutting and polishing that give it its legendary brilliance.

Every diamond in BELLER collections is carefully selected, meeting the highest standards of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), in accordance with the international 4C classification: clarity, cut, carat weight, and color.

From Concept to Dreamlike Jewelry with Diamonds

D-F VVS1 diamonds: what do these parameters mean

At BELLER, we set diamonds with D-F color and VVS1 clarity: this is at the very top of the scale. D-F color means colorless or almost colorless stones: the purest, "icy" brilliance without yellowish tones. VVS1 clarity (very very slightly included) refers to inclusions so tiny that they are difficult to see even under ten-fold magnification: they are invisible to the naked eye. In practice: a diamond with these parameters reflects light purely and intensely, regardless of the lighting.

GIA Certificate: a document, not a declaration

The center stones in our jewelry are certified by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), the most rigorous independent gemological laboratory in the world. The certificate describes every parameter of the stone: weight, color, clarity, cut, proportions, and fluorescence. This is the difference between a "seller's assurance" and a document that remains valid everywhere: for appraisal, insurance, or years later, when passing the jewelry on to the next generation.

Cut: a parameter visible from the other side of the room

It's not the carat, but the cut that's responsible for a diamond's brilliance. A precisely executed cut guides light through the crown of the stone, reflects it off the pavilion walls, and returns it to the eye as fire and brilliance. That's why at BELLER, we choose stones with excellent cut proportions: a smaller diamond with a superb cut can sparkle more intensely than a larger one with an average cut. We write more about how to choose the right cut for your style on our blog.

Setting in the service of stone

Even the most beautiful diamond can be dulled by a poor setting. In our workshopwe design settings specifically for each stone: to let light in from all sides, protect the girdle during daily wear, and hold the stone securely for decades. This is the artisanal side of diamonds, rarely spoken of, but it determines how the stone will look on the hand, not just on a certificate.

From stone selection to the finished project

You can choose a diamond ring from our collectionor build one from scratch: in our atelier, we will show you diamonds side-by-side, in the same light, explain the differences between parameters, and help you select a stone that fits your budget: honestly, without pressure for "more carats."
