B.One N°5 is a BELLER gold necklace with blue sapphires from Sri Lanka of a combined 1.37 CT, one of the designs of the B.One collection. What sets it apart is its uniformity: the stones share the same round shape and the same color, so the necklace speaks in a single color. The warm yellow gold of the setting brings out the coolness of the blue instead of competing with it. The necklace is one of a kind, in 14K (585) yellow gold.
Are the sapphires in the B.One N°5 necklace natural?
Yes. The sapphires in B.One N°5 are natural, and their blue color is not the result of heating or any other treatment. Sapphire owes its blue to natural traces of iron and titanium in the corundum crystal. We chose each of the AAA clarity stones individually before they were all set in yellow gold.
How many carats are the sapphires in B.One N°5?
A total of 1.37 CT. That is the combined weight of the sapphires in the B.One N°5 necklace, and the whole necklace, with its 14K (585) gold, weighs 2.35 g. A carat is a unit of gemstone weight equal to one fifth of a gram, not a measure of size, so stones of the same weight can differ in diameter, depending on the density of the mineral and the proportions of the cut.
Does the B.One N°5 necklace come with a certificate?
Yes. The B.One N°5 necklace comes with a numbered BELLER certificate of authenticity, in which we describe the sapphires and the 14K (585) gold. It is a document of the house, not a gemological laboratory report: it confirms that the necklace was made in the BELLER workshop. You receive the certificate together with the necklace, when you collect it.
