    The B.One N°48 ring gives the oval stone the whole stage and leaves the gold only the role of a narrow base. The tourmaline, from Nigeria, weighs 0.89 CT and has a green color and an AAA grade. The base is 14K (585) yellow gold, from which the green of the stone takes on a warmer tone.

  • The B.One N°48 ring recalls a principle of the B.One collection: the character of each model comes from the shape and cut of its stone, not from ornament. Here that character is set by a tourmaline of 0.89 CT, mounted on a band 2 mm wide. The ring was given its shape by hand in the BELLER workshop in Warsaw; it is a size 11 and weighs about 1.32 g. The ring comes in one size; we can make it smaller, but it cannot be enlarged.

  • B.One N°48 is made of 14K (585) yellow gold, so 585 of every thousand parts of the alloy are pure gold. On the Mohs scale tourmaline reaches 7-7.5, which is enough for daily wear, though it is wiser to take the ring off when working with tools. Pastes and abrasive powders can dull the gold, so only a soft brush, warm water and soap are used for cleaning. You can register your jewelry with BELLER Care: once you join, we inspect and clean it, and polish it when needed, free of charge, for life. Repairs are quoted before any work begins.

What sets it apart

A tourmaline of 0.89 CT is the heart of the B.One N°48 ring, one of BELLER's designs in the B.One collection. Depth of color sets it apart: in an oval this heavy, light passes through a thicker layer of crystal, so the green appears fuller than in a small stone. The gold has one color here, yellow, and the tourmaline one setting, because the ring exists as a single piece. We include a numbered BELLER certificate of authenticity that describes the tourmaline and the gold.

Was the tourmaline in B.One N°48 heated?

No. The tourmaline in B.One N°48 has not been heated or treated; it is natural, AAA grade and weighs 0.89 CT. Heating is used in the gem trade to improve or change color, which is why it is one of the more important questions with colored stones. We sourced the stone from Nigeria in the state in which it was mined and cut.

Can B.One N°48 be engraved?

Yes. Engraving ordered with your jewelry is free of charge. The band of B.One N°48 is 2 mm wide and on the inside will take a short name, initials or a date, in a simple typeface. You give the wording together with the order, because engraving added after the ring has been collected is also included in the price.
