  • The B One N°50 ring rests on a single proportion. The band is two millimeters wide, and above it, exactly on the axis, stands a tourmaline of 0.70 CT. The narrow line of gold does not compete with the stone, it lifts it and closes it. The total approximate weight is 1.60 grams, a weight the hand hardly registers.

    Inside, a light green is at work. The round brilliant cut divides the stone into facets set to turn light back to the eye, and in a light shade it does more than it would in a saturated stone: light passes through the tourmaline more freely and comes back brighter. AAA clarity means that nothing holds it up on the way. The yellow gold adds a warm reflection on the edge of the setting and carries the green out on contrast instead of quieting it.

    We set this tourmaline by hand in our Warsaw workshop, in solid 585 gold. We made N°50 in one color of gold and in one size, 13. We can make that size smaller, larger we cannot. A shade this light is best judged in daylight, so we invite you to our boutiques at Mokotowska 71 in Warsaw and Szczepańska 9 in Kraków.

  • We make the B One N°50 ring from 585 yellow gold, which is 14K. The band is two millimeters wide and the total approximate weight is 1.60 grams. We temper the gold, which hardens the metal and clearly raises its resistance to scratches. One color of gold is available, yellow, and one size, 13. We can make it smaller, larger we cannot.

    The center stone is a tourmaline of 0.70 CT. Color: light green. Cut: round brilliant. Clarity: AAA, the highest grade on this scale. We source stones like this ourselves and we set them ourselves, by hand, in our Warsaw workshop.

What sets it apart

The light green of the tourmaline in a brilliant cut lets light through more freely than a saturated stone, so it returns brighter from within. In B One N°50 a 0.70 carat tourmaline sits exactly on axis above a 2 mm band. It is a unique piece in size 13.

Is the tourmaline in this ring natural?

Yes. It is a natural AAA-grade tourmaline, which means no inclusions visible to the naked eye, weighing 0.70 carat and round cut. The ring comes with a BELLER certificate of authenticity describing the stone and the gold fineness.

Can this ring be resized?

B One N°50 exists in a single size, 13. In our workshop we can make it smaller but not larger, because that would require adding gold. If you need a larger size, we will create a similar ring to order.

Where is the B One N°50 ring made?

In our own workshop, where our master goldsmiths create the band by hand in 585 yellow gold. The setting has a slim profile so as not to compete with the stone, and the warm gold brings out the light green of the tourmaline.
