A proposal is planned once, and the ring stays for decades. In Kraków that moment has an address: the BELLER boutique at Szczepańska 9, a short walk from the Main Market Square. You can sit down without hurry, look at diamonds in daylight and see how a particular ring behaves on the hand before anything is decided.
Where can you see BELLER engagement rings in Kraków?
BELLER engagement rings are shown at the boutique at Szczepańska 9 in Kraków, Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 19:00. It is the brand's second boutique, opened in the heart of the Old Town, next to the Main Market Square and the Planty park. The interior was designed the way we design jewellery: craftsman detail, calm light, a place to talk without pressure. Directions and details are on the Atelier Kraków page, and if you are more often in the capital, the same collection waits at Atelier Warsaw at Mokotowska 71.
What can you try on at Szczepańska 9?
Waiting on site is the Promise collection, the BELLER line of engagement rings built around a central diamond. It runs through three leading cuts, round, cushion and marquise, and every model is made in white, yellow or rose gold in 585 or 750. A higher fineness does not mean a better ring, only a different character: 585 is harder and takes daily wear more willingly, 750 gives a deeper, warmer tone of the metal. Alongside Promise, the engagement rings category holds designs with coloured stones and one-off pieces made to order.

How much does an engagement ring cost at the BELLER boutique in Kraków?
BELLER engagement rings start at PLN 3,750 and the price in the boutique is exactly the same as online. Within the Promise collection the scale reads clearly: model N°35 with a 0.035 CT diamond costs PLN 3,750, N°36 with a 0.10 CT stone is PLN 4,650, N°37 with 0.15 CT is PLN 5,550, N°38 with 0.20 CT is PLN 7,450, and N°18 with a 0.30 CT diamond is PLN 10,950. Higher up the scale leads to PLN 24,500 for 0.50 CT and PLN 70,500 for a one carat stone. That spread is deliberate, because it lets you choose between a larger stone and a different colour of gold or a different cut, instead of giving up quality.
How does a ring seen in person differ from a photograph?
In person you see scintillation, the flicker of light that appears with every movement of the hand and that no screen conveys. A photograph shows shape and proportion, but not how a stone works in daylight by the window and how differently it reads under an evening lamp. In the boutique you can also compare two neighbouring carat weights side by side and find where the difference truly sits, because fewer millimetres separate 0.30 CT from 0.50 CT than the numbers suggest. How a setting shapes that light is described in our guide to diamond settings, and the visit itself in trying on an engagement ring.

Can a ring be designed from scratch in Kraków?
Yes, the conversation about your own design happens at Szczepańska 9, and the ring is then made by hand in our own workshop in Warsaw. Every element can change: the colour of the gold, the fineness, the width of the band, the cut and weight of the central stone, and the stone itself if it is to be a natural sapphire, emerald or ruby rather than a diamond. We also work with family gold, which we melt down and bring into a new design. The whole course of that work is described on the special orders page.
The lead time is agreed individually when the order is placed, since it depends on the design and on whether the stone is already with us or sourced to your specification. We also take express orders and can help when a date is tight, after arranging the timing with the workshop. It is worth mentioning your date in the first conversation, so we can plan the work around it.
How do you know the diamond is natural?
Every diamond from 0.30 CT comes with a GIA certificate from the independent gemmological laboratory that records the weight, colour, clarity and cut of the stone. BELLER works only with natural stones, and in central diamonds we hold to colour D-E and clarity VVS1, the highest steps of the scale. You can examine the certificate in the boutique together with the stone before you decide. Our criteria for selecting stones are set out on the Diamonds page, and what distinguishes jewellery of the highest order is described in our piece on high jewellery.

What happens after the purchase, meaning size, engraving and service?
One resizing is included in the price of the ring, so a surprise that lands slightly off costs you nothing. Engraving is included as well, and the inner side of the band is the natural place for a date or two letters. On top of that comes free refreshing and polishing service, available in both boutiques, also years later. That part is ours to handle; yours is to wear the ring rather than worry about it.
How should you prepare for a visit to the Kraków boutique?
The easiest way is to let us know through the contact page, so we reserve time and prepare the models you want to compare. A photograph of the hand, or of a ring worn every day, helps a great deal, and if the size is to stay a secret we will work it out discreetly from that photograph and a few simple measurements. It is also useful to know which colour of gold appears in the jewellery that person already wears. If you are still choosing a workshop, our guide on how to choose a jeweller in Kraków will help, and a few months later you will come back to us for wedding rings in Kraków.
