Some decisions are better made with the jewelry on your hand than with a phone in it. A ring that will stay on a finger for decades, wedding bands for a shared life, a bracelet for a daughter's eighteenth birthday. In those moments what matters is not only what you choose, but how calmly and confidently the choice is made.
This is a practical guide to visiting a BELLER atelier. We explain whether you need an appointment, what is worth having with you and how the meeting unfolds depending on why you have come. Both boutiques welcome you: in Warsaw at Mokotowska 71 and in Kraków at Szczepańska 9.
Do you need an appointment at a BELLER atelier?
No, you can walk into either boutique without notice, Monday to Saturday between 11:00 and 19:00. Booking ahead has one advantage: we reserve time for you and prepare the specific rings, stones or wedding bands you mention. You can arrange a time through the contact page or by phone at +48 731 091 091.
If you are planning more than a quick look at the collections, for instance a conversation about a design from scratch, booking is simply more comfortable. Nobody hurries you, and the consultant has everything needed for the conversation at hand.
What should you bring to the visit?
Three things are the most useful: photos or screenshots of forms you like, the ring or bracelet you wear today, and a rough budget. Photos help name the direction quickly, even when they come from completely different sources. Jewelry you already wear lets us read your size without guessing. A budget lets us show what makes sense straight away instead of everything in turn.
If you are choosing for someone else, their ring helps, even borrowed for an hour, or a photo of their hand next to something of a known size. And if you have none of these, come without them: we measure on site, and a one-time resizing is included in the price of the jewelry.
How does a visit unfold when you are looking for an engagement ring?
We start with the stone, because it decides the character of the ring and looks different on a hand than on a screen. We work with natural diamonds of D-E color and VVS1 clarity, GIA certified, from 0.30 ct. On site you compare several weights side by side: the 0.30 ct diamond in the Promise N°18 ring measures 4.4 mm across, and the difference between it and the 0.20 ct stone in Promise N°38 becomes visible only on the finger, not in a photo.
Then we move to the setting and the color of gold. Every design is made in three colors, white, yellow and rose, in 585 or 750 gold, and which to choose depends on the character of the occasion and how the ring will be worn. How do you prepare to choose wedding bands?
Come together and give yourselves time to try several widths, because a wedding band is the one piece of jewelry worn every day for a lifetime. The wedding bands collection holds thirty-two designs, from plain to diamond-set. As an example, the Soulmate N°4 gold band costs 3,750 zł and the Soulmate N°5 with diamonds 3,450 zł, because the price is driven above all by the amount of gold, that is width and profile, rather than the stone itself.
It is worth thinking about the engraving in advance. We do it free of charge, on the inside, and the most common choices are a date, initials or a short phrase. If you come with the text ready, we settle its length against the specific model right there.
What should you bring when you want to commission a design from scratch?
An idea is enough, even an unfinished one, plus anything that helps tell it. Photos, a sketch on paper, a family stone you want reset, or old jewelry whose gold should return in a new form. During the conversation we settle the form, the metal, the stone and the budget, and the designer prepares a visualization or a technical drawing. You approve the design only when you are sure of it.

How do you prepare jewelry for service, resizing or engraving?
Simply bring it as it is, without cleaning it first. The jeweler assesses its condition on site and tells you what is worth doing: refreshing and polishing are free at BELLER, and a one-time resizing is included in the price of the jewelry. This covers shortening chains, adding a link and resizing a ring, and for selected rigid bangles also adjusting the circumference.
If you are coming for an engraving, have the text ready and know where it should go. On a rigid bangle we engrave the inside, on a ring the inside of the band. Details are collected in our text on jewelry service at the BELLER boutique.
How much time should you set aside, and when to come before an important date?
Half an hour is enough to see the collections and try pieces on, and an hour is worth having for a conversation about a design from scratch. Most orders are completed within 5 to 7 working days, so if you have a proposal or wedding date, come at least two weeks ahead. For fully original designs, for instance with a non-standard arrangement of stones, allow more time so every detail can be refined without hurry.
You collect the finished jewelry in person at the boutique, together with the stone certificate if the design includes one. It is a good moment for a final try-on and any size correction, which we carry out within the price.
How do the Warsaw and Kraków boutiques differ?
In address and interior, not in offer or standard of service. The Warsaw boutique at Mokotowska 71 stands on one of the capital's most elegant streets, the Kraków boutique at Szczepańska 9 sits in a historic townhouse a few steps from the Main Square. In both you will see the same collections, natural diamonds and gemstones, in both you can commission a made-to-measure design and hand jewelry in for service.
