Silver is rarely jewellery for a single occasion. More often it stays for everyday wear: a ring taken off only to wash your hands, earrings put on without a second thought, a bracelet worn for years. Since it is meant to keep you company that long, it is worth seeing in person, holding in your hand and checking how it sits on the hand.

The BELLER silver collection counts 201 designs and all of them wait in two boutiques: at 71 Mokotowska Street in Warsaw and at 9 Szczepańska Street in Kraków, a few steps from the Main Market Square. Below you will find what you will see on site, what the individual designs cost and what we can do for you during the visit itself.

Where can you see BELLER silver jewellery in Kraków and Warsaw?

We show the entire silver collection in two boutiques, in Warsaw and in Kraków, Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 19:00. Atelier Warsaw sits at 71 Mokotowska Street, in the quarter of townhouses between Plac Zbawiciela and Aleje Ujazdowskie. Atelier Kraków occupies an interior at 9 Szczepańska Street, a few dozen metres from the Main Market Square.

Both places offer the same assortment and the same service: the chance to try on any design, have your size measured and compare silver with gold in natural light. You do not need an appointment, though if you prefer an adviser entirely to yourself, a message through the contact page is enough.

What will you find in the silver collection on site?

The silver collection consists of 201 designs: 65 rings, 61 pairs of earrings, 32 bracelets, 26 pendants and 17 necklaces. These are complete categories, not single additions to the gold offer.

We group the designs into lines, meaning families of projects that share one language of form. Raw is built on a raw, geometric solid. Liquid on soft, flowing surfaces. Cube on a repeated cube module. Twirl on a twisted detail. Elements on modules joined into a chain. Thanks to this, silver earrings and silver rings from one line sit together effortlessly.

The bracelets deserve a separate pause, because that is where the finish carries the most weight. All 32 designs, 18 of them rigid forms, are hardened and covered with a layer of rhodium, and that one procedure protects them against dulling and against the marks of daily wear alike. Each leaves the workshop secured as carefully as our gold pieces, and no two repeat each other: Raw N°3 is raw and geometric, the rigid Round N°1 smooth and full, Elements N°7 built from repeated modules. Prices start at 550 zł and reach 1 750 zł.

How much does BELLER silver jewellery cost?

The silver collection starts at 350 zł and reaches 2 750 zł. The lowest threshold is the Raw N°7 ring, 1 mm wide and weighing 0.49 g, the highest the Elements N°1 necklace weighing 8 g, with a diamond set in a pendant element of 10 mm.

The largest part of the collection falls between 550 and 650 zł. In that range you will find the Liquid N°2 earrings measuring 20 by 7 mm and weighing 2.4 g, the Raw N°1 bracelet 2 mm wide and weighing 3.88 g, and the Twirl N°2 bracelet with a 10 mm element. Price follows above all from the quantity of metal and the labour of the finish, not from how large a design looks in a photograph.

Why does our silver come from the same workshop as our gold?

Silver designs leave the same hands and the same benches as the gold collections, in our own workshop. This is a decision about the character of the brand, not about price: we treat silver as a metal in its own right, never as a substitute version.

We work in 925 fineness, meaning 92.5 percent pure silver in the alloy. Every piece is then covered with a layer of rhodium, a metal from the platinum group, which gives a mirror-like, cool shine and protects the surface from tarnishing. If you want to understand exactly what that layer does and how long it works, we described it in our piece on rhodium plated silver. Rhodium plated silver and white gold share a very close tone, which is why the two combine freely.

How do we determine ring and bracelet size during the visit?

We establish size on site, on your hand, not from a table. The adviser passes you successive ring gauges, checks the resistance as the ring slides over the knuckle and compares the result on both hands, because fingers on one hand are often half a size larger.

With bracelets we measure the wrist circumference and add the ease appropriate to the design: a bracelet with a delicate link needs different room than a rigid form. If after weeks of wear you find you prefer a slightly different fit, one resize is included in the purchase price, together with shortening a chain or adding a link.

Can silver jewellery be personalised?

Yes, in two ways. The simpler one is engraving, which we carry out free of charge on every piece where the surface allows it. A date, an initial, a short sentence: we agree the wording at the counter and show a preview before the burin touches the metal.

The second way is a special order. Silver works here just as well as gold: we can change the proportions of an existing design, carry a detail from one line into another, or build a form from scratch, following your drawing or description. The conversation begins in the boutique, and the project comes back to you as a visualisation before work starts.

What does the silver service cover after purchase?

Refreshing and polishing silver bought at BELLER is free and has no time limit. You bring the piece to the boutique in Warsaw or Kraków, we clean the surface, even out fine scratches and, if needed, apply a new layer of rhodium so the cool shine returns to its first day state.

Added to that is the one resize included in the purchase price. The full scope of what we do at the counter and what requires leaving the jewellery with us for a few days is gathered in our description of the service at the BELLER boutique.

How do you arrange a visit and what can you expect?

It is enough to come Monday to Saturday between 11:00 and 19:00, to Warsaw at 71 Mokotowska Street or to Kraków at 9 Szczepańska Street. If you prefer certainty that an adviser will be free at a particular hour, write through the contact page and we will set a time. What to look for when choosing a workshop we gathered in our piece on how to choose a jeweller in Kraków.

The visit carries no obligation to buy and no pressure. You can try on a dozen or more designs, compare silver and gold side by side, ask about the weight and dimensions of every model. A rhodium plated surface gathers light one way under a lamp and another way by the window, and that is one of the differences a photograph will not carry.
