B.One N°42 is a BELLER gold ring from the B.One collection, with a pear-cut tourmaline of 1.25 CT that we brought from Nigeria. Its character comes from direction: the tapered tip of the stone sets a clear axis, which round and square stones do not have. Every tourmaline has its own pear proportions and its own play of color, so this axis cannot be reproduced exactly with another stone. That is why only one such ring was made, described in a numbered BELLER certificate.
Is the tourmaline in B.One N°42 natural?
Yes, it is a natural tourmaline of AAA grade: in B.One N°42 we set a stone that has never gone through heating or treatment. The green and yellow of this 1.25 CT stone are therefore its own colors, not the result of processing after mining. At AAA grade there are also no inclusions that could be seen with the naked eye.
What diamonds does the B.One N°42 ring have?
The B.One N°42 ring has natural side diamonds measuring 1.5 x 1.5 mm, set in 14K (585) yellow gold. A stone of this size weighs many times less than 0.30 CT, the threshold from which diamonds receive a GIA report at BELLER. The grades of the side diamonds are therefore given in the BELLER certificate with a gemologist's description.
What size is the B.One N°42 ring?
B.One N°42 is size 12, set once, when the ring was made. The ring comes in one size; we can make it smaller, but it cannot be enlarged. With a band 2 mm wide, the size is chosen exactly by the finger measurement, with no allowance, so the measured result only needs to be compared with size 12.
