Are the Pearl N°2 silver earrings set with pearls?
No, the Pearl N°2 silver earrings are set with neither pearls nor any stones. We make them in 925 sterling silver with a rhodium finish. Each earring is 6 mm in diameter.
Do the Pearl N°2 silver earrings tarnish?
No, as long as the rhodium layer protects it: under it, the silver in Pearl N°2 does not tarnish, because the rhodium seals it off from air and moisture. Over years of wear, however, this layer gradually wears away, first where the earrings most often touch the skin. The exposed silver may then take on a darker tone, which re-plating with rhodium removes.
Is there a gold version of the Pearl N°2 earrings?
Yes, the BELLER store also offers the Pearl N°2 gold earrings, made in 14K (585) or 18K (750) gold. They come in yellow, white or rose, and the form and diameter stay the same as in the silver version. Gold does not need rhodium plating, except for white gold, which we also plate with rhodium.
