A trip to Kraków or Warsaw often ends with a question: what will stay with you longer than a few photographs? BELLER jewelry is created in our own workshop in Poland, and you can see it, try it on and choose it in two boutiques: at Szczepańska 9 in Kraków and at Mokotowska 71 in Warsaw. We write this for guests who come from other cities and countries and want to know what to expect from a visit before they step inside.

Where can you see BELLER jewelry in Kraków and Warsaw?

You can see BELLER jewelry in person in two boutiques, at Szczepańska 9 in Kraków and at Mokotowska 71 in Warsaw, open Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 19:00. The Kraków boutique is a few steps from the Main Market Square and a few minutes' walk from Wawel, so it fits easily into a day in the Old Town. The Warsaw boutique is in the very center of the city. You can walk in without a reservation. If your stay is short, it is worth calling ahead: Kraków +48 798 011 311, Warsaw +48 731 091 091. We will then have your chosen designs ready. How to prepare for such a meeting is described in our article on visiting a jewelry atelier, and an overview of what you will find in both boutiques is in the article on jewelry in Kraków and Warsaw.

What makes BELLER jewelry jewelry from Poland?

BELLER jewelry is Polish in the most literal sense: every piece is created in our own workshop, in solid gold or silver, never in hollow sheet. We work in 585 and 750 gold, in three colors, white, yellow and rose, and in 925 silver. We temper the gold and silver, which hardens the metal so the jewelry withstands everyday life and can be passed on to the next generation. You choose the gold standard by the character the jewelry should have: 585 is gold for everyday wear, 750 is a deeper, richer shade for special occasions. Our stones are exclusively natural. Our diamonds are colorless, D to E color, with clarity from VVS1 to VS1. Our gemstones, sapphires, tourmalines, tanzanites or garnets, are AAA grade, unheated and untreated.

Which BELLER jewelry tells the story of Kraków?

The story of Kraków is told by the Kraków Collection, divided into three chapters: Barbakan, Witraż Krakowski and Smok Wawelski. Barbakan (Barbican) carries the strength of brick walls and the rhythm of the battlements of the medieval gate into gold, in a minimalist, geometric form. Witraż Krakowski (Kraków Stained Glass) draws on the stained glass of Stanisław Wyspiański and Józef Mehoffer: small stones, blue and pink sapphires, garnets, peridots, tanzanite and tourmalines, arranged individually in each piece, the way colored light falls through the glass of Kraków's churches. Smok Wawelski (Wawel Dragon) bears the texture of dragon scales, cast and chased by hand, which catches the light with every movement of the hand. You will see the whole collection in both boutiques, though at Szczepańska, in the city it grew from, it gains an extra meaning.

How much does jewelry from the Kraków Collection cost?

Jewelry from the Kraków Collection costs from 1,250 PLN in silver to 26,650 PLN in gold, depending on the form, the gold standard and the weight of the metal. In 925 silver we create rings, earrings and rigid bracelets from the Barbakan and Smok Wawelski chapters, from 1,250 to 1,650 PLN. In gold, the most intimate design is the Barbakan N°1 ring, from 2,950 PLN in 585 gold. Kraków Stained Glass rings cost from 3,550 PLN, as do the necklaces from this chapter. The most striking are the bangles, solid gold rigid bracelets worn on the wrist: Barbakan N°1 from 8,350 PLN, Kraków Stained Glass N°1 from 11,550 PLN and Wawel Dragon N°1 from 13,500 PLN in 585 gold.

How do you find your ring size during a short visit?

We measure your ring size in the boutique with sizing rings, on your own hand, so you do not need to know it in advance or convert it from another scale. A fitting settles it at once: you put the ring on, see how it sits on your finger, and decide. When your favorite design is not waiting in the display case in your size, we create it in our workshop. One ring resize is included with your purchase and we carry it out free of charge, as long as the construction of the ring allows it. Rigid bracelets from the Kraków Collection are matched to wrist circumference, from 13 to 16 cm. If you are buying a ring for someone who stayed at home, read our article on how to choose a ring without knowing the size.

What documents come with your jewelry?

Every piece of BELLER jewelry comes with a certificate bearing a unique number, and rings with diamonds above 0.3 ct also come with a GIA report. A GIA report, issued by the Gemological Institute of America, is recognized worldwide, which matters when your jewelry leaves Poland with you. What our certificates contain is explained on the certification page.

What if your jewelry is to be created after you leave?

Jewelry created after your visit is sent to the address you choose, abroad as well, by DHL, in a shipment insured for its full value. This usually happens for one of three reasons: you chose a size that is not in the display case, you would like a different gold standard or gold color, or you would like an engraving. Engraving at purchase is free of charge and we carry it out in our workshop, as described in our article on jewelry engraving. Neither the packaging nor the shipping label reveals what is inside. You make the decision in the boutique, and we take care of the rest.

How do we care for your jewelry when you live abroad?

We care for BELLER jewelry through the BELLER Care program, which you join in your account, whichever country you live in. Once you have joined, we clean and polish your jewelry and check the setting of the stones, free of charge and for life. You can bring your jewelry to a boutique on your next visit to Poland or send it to us, after arranging the shipment by phone or by email at atelier@beller.pl. If you would like to know exactly what this care includes, see our frequently asked questions.
